The demand on my edits is higher than i thought before - so many thanks to all downloaders and supporters of my Multicam Edit! Here is a little statement of websites which linked me:

Also i am working on a newer encode of my Multicam Edit in x264 AVC at 1280x720p/24p. It will be released soon as torrent and at RapidShare!
I have done some colour correction and denoised the MPEG 2 HD source a little bit. I will pack it into the MKV (Matroska) container together with an AC3 soundtrack at 448/640 kbps. the x264 AVC RAW video is full (Mini) Blu-Ray compatible, so you can use e.g. TsMuxeR to remux it to a M-BR. At least it will fit a DL DVD-R perfectly!
Stay tuned for updates!
And please do not forget to seed your downloaded copies!

THE TORRENTS ARE ONLINE!
Welcome to my new project page for my Nine Inch Nails LITS edits!
In January 2009 Trent posted a message on the official nin website. A "mysterious" group released a 400 GB BitTorrent file, including HD footage of three shows (Victoria, Portland and Sacramento) in 1080i HDV. Each show has up to 7 different CAMs in 3 parts, all synced to each other in video and audio.
Basing on this high end material, i have done a new Multicam Edit in High- and Standard-Definition.
You can choose between these versions: |

Nine Inch Nails Live Video 2008 12 05 Victoria BC (Multicam Edit HD 1080i Blu-Ray) - ca. 25 GB

The downloads will be released as Torrents on this Friday (3rd of April 2009)!
I have an 1 MBit SDSL here at work, the connected Windows Server 2003 will run 24/7! Special thanks to my employer for making it possible! |
All versions are directly encoded from the original HDV files inside the Sony Vegas Pro project file. For the best possible quality, every edition was encoded with VBR 2-Pass. You will notice no quality drop between the original files and the Blu-Ray version, because of the powerful Smart Rendering Engine and the project settings (the same as the input) inside Sony Vegas Pro 8.
All files will be released as "sources", e.g. the Blu-Ray version comes as MPEG-2 file. So you have the possibility to encode it to any format you like. Modern authoring suites, like "TMPGEnc AuthoringWorks" or "Nero Vision Express" recognizes the video as correct format and will use Smart Rendering, so it builds just the needed disc structure.
Please note:
WMV-HD downloaders will notice a quality drop from the beginning of the video to minute 3:50. I really dont know, if this is a WMV encoder (software) problem or bug, because of the few video details during "1.000.000" (only lights, the rest black). I have tested some technics to encode (2-Pass VBR, 2-Pass VBR Peak & 2-Pass CBR), but except of the 2-Pass CBR encode, which had a badder picture than VBR, all VBR versions had the same problem. From minute 3:50 the picture is awesome like it should be! It could be, that i release both versions (VBR & CBR), so you can decide.
After finishing and releasing my first edit of the show (basing on an awesome x264 rip made by "TheRock"), i have decided to download the Victoria show on my own and to do a re-edit in high definition. In this re-edit i have focused my work to use no shaking cams, showing the actual playing musician for example and not to forget the lightshow of the concert. The audio is untouched or better, unedited. After more than 3 weeks of editing it looks more professional now and i hope, you like it! Enjoy!
Here you can download my first edit, encoded as 2 DVD-R disc set. Let me call it "the first steps".
The files were coming as ISO, so you can burn it with all actual burning suites like Nero, WinOnCD or mount it with
Daemon Tools.
Please comment my work here. Suggestions, critics and any kind of ideas are always welcome!
Stay tuned for future updates!
