Update 21st June 2009:
for the newest topics look below

As you can see, nothing has changed here since the website was loaded up to the depths of the internet. This has many causes,
once of it is a bigger IT-project i am working on. We want to archive hospital picture data in one central archive server farm that
has itīs place in munich / germany. All connected hospitals are transferring their data over a crypted VPN. The project consists
of the firm i am working at, EMC2 and AGFA healthcare germany. If everything works like a charm, this will be a big deal ;-)

You can get more informations here : www.dacs-data.com (german text)

Meanwhile i am working on my SonicWall Internetsecurity Appliance Enhanced OS Administrator license. Still back to school ...
There are many other projects i am working on at this time too, but writing about that would brake the frame of this site ;-)

One of my biggest hobbies after my beautiful and amazing wife Andrea and my OC Computer is collecting classic
Masters Of The Universe figures from the 80ies. When i remember back to my childhood it was THE biggest pleasure to play with
He-Man and Skeletor, the figures were the ultimate must have at this time. I am collecting figures since four years for now and i
built up an amazing (for my point of view) collection of MINT figures i personally freed form their package (always damaged ones!).
MINT figures are in unplayed condition!

This picture shows my first figure showcase. The photo is some month old and in the lowest level some figures added since then, like
a MINT MODULOK, BATTLE ARMOR HE-MAN & SKELETOR, GRIZZLOR and some comics from their packages.
You can see my whole collection on the following websites :

www.crazycollectors.de
MotU Vintage Collection (New!) (hosted on planeteternia.de)
MotUC Collection (New!) (hosted on planeteternia.de)

MotU 200x Collection (New!) (hosted on planeteternia.de)

Take some time to watch the pictures and feel pushed back to your childhood :-). There are some other great and expensive
collections to see! As well you can read there how i became a collector (german text). My next step will be the startup of a
MOSC (mint on sealed card) collection - the figures complete in their package and never removed from it before.

If you have some questions, feel free to ask me.

By the power of Castle Grayskull!

On this picture you can see the two leaders, He-Man and Skeletor. Both MINT ON CARD (MOC), and never opened and played with.
Thanks goes to Christian (naseweiss) for selling me this nice He-Man US MOC (yes, it is mine now)! First it was bought as
a gift for a birthday, but i decided to keep it and gave away a Battle Armor He-Man US MOC therefore :-).

For preventing the two MOCs of damaging, i have put them into special cases.

On Friday, the 08th of August 2008 the both King Grayskull MISB from the San Diego Comic Con 2008 i ordered have arrived.
This is the start for the new MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE CLASSICS series from MATTEL. Here are some pictures from the figure:

After ca. 80 hours of programing, fixing and building i am proud to present my new Windows PE 1.0 based project:

On this screenshot you can see a full running Windows XP SP3 complete from CD (exactly 717 MB) including
some tools for malware scanning, harddisk imaging / cloning, data recovery and more. All files that are produced during
the session were copied to a RAMDrive with 128 MB disk space. You also have full internet access, that gives
the possibility to update the virus scanners on the fly. In the latest build i have added the FBWF driver from Windows XP Embedded,
that allows the system to write directly to the CD-ROM drive. The filter driver writes the changes to RAM but locates the written and
changed files to the system drive as long the Windows XPE session is running. That gives the possibility to install software to the
system or to use WPA2 encryption for WiFi.

The project is closed and the CD is ready to use in productive cases.

For more information about Windows XPE and PE-based systems write me an email.

That CD will make my life of an IT professional much easier :-)

Lits

My favourite band "Nine Inch Nails" have released a 400 GB "gift" of three shows from the tour last year. In the package are 3
complete shows (Victoria, Sacramento and Portland) recorded in HD 1080i MPEG-2. The footage comes in three parts
for each CAM. E.g. the Victoria show has 5 CAMs a 3 parts, the parts are synch so you can use it with Final Cut Pro on Mac or
Sony Vegas Pro on PC for editing.

You can download my first release as DVD image here:

Nine Inch Nails Live Video 2008 12 05 (Multicam Edit project site)

In this moment i am working on a re-edit of the show. It will be released as Blu-Ray 1080i, DVD, DivX and WMV-HD 720p.
I will post download links on my project side, when itīs done.

If you want to edit the footage yourself, you can download the "400" here:

Please note: Windows / PC users have to remux the MOV files to an PC compatible MPEG-2 stream.
Read here, how you can do that.
